Drones attacked the city of Oryol
According to glavcom.ua: On the night of August 29, drones attacked the Russian city of Oryol in the Oryol region. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to Exilenova+.
According to local residents, about 15 explosions were heard in Oryol. As a result of the attack, smoke rose and a fire broke out in one of the city districts.
Russians filmed many videos showing the sounds of explosions and the visibility of smoke. There is no official information. Russian Telegram channels report that the attack began after 1:00 AM.
Other attacks in Russia
On the night of August 28, the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region and the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region were attacked in Russia. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to Exilenova+.
Recall that on the night of August 24, units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted fire damage on a target of fuel and energy infrastructure in Russia. The target was the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region.
Earlier, the commander of the UAV forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdiy 'Madyar', showed a fire at the oil pumping station 'Unecha' in the Bryansk region after another drone attack.
The events of drone attacks in various regions of Russia indicate an escalation of the conflict and an increase in military activities in this region. Attacks on industrial facilities and infrastructure are a dangerous element of rising tensions among the conflict participants.
