According to glavcom.ua: The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Matviy Bidny, expressed his concern that the occupiers who were injured during war crimes on Ukrainian territory are actively accepted into the Russian Paralympic national teams. The International Paralympic Committee confirmed Russia's right to enter participants of the war against Ukraine in the competitions. But do Ukraine's international partners know about this?

During informal communications and letters, we emphasize this. The President of the Russian Paralympic Committee acknowledged that the decision to restore Russia is indeed an achievement of Putin. The acceptance of the occupiers into the Russian Paralympic teams also requires the attention of the international sports community.

At the General Assembly of the IPC in Seoul in September 2023, the IPC members voted for the full restoration of Russia's membership. This means that Russians and Belarusians can compete under the IPC's auspices with national symbols. The assembly participants voted for the full restoration of membership, not supporting the partial suspension of the Russian Paralympic Committee. This decision was made possible after the first and second rounds of voting, where full restoration of membership was preferred.

Freestyler Anastasia Tatulina, representing the Russian army club CSKA, appealed to the International Ski and Snowboard Federation to allow her to compete in the 2026 Olympic Games. Tatulina actively supported Russian military activities against Ukraine, for which she received support from the President of Russia.

«I represent Russia, and I was proud when the President of Russia, Vladimir Vladimirovich (Putin), sent me a telegram after winning the World Championship», - Tatulina stated.
Tatulina expressed support for the Russian slogan «We do not abandon our own».

The Minister of Sports in Ukraine expressed concern about the participation of occupiers from Russia in the Paralympic teams and also spoke about the decision of the International Paralympic Committee regarding Russia's return to membership. The news also mentions the freestyler's appeal to the federation to allow her to the 2026 Olympic Games.
