In September of this year, Belarus suddenly increased its gasoline supplies to Russia fourfold compared to the previous month, delivering 49 thousand tons of fuel. Additionally, another 33 thousand tons of diesel fuel were sent to the Russian Federation.

In the summer of 2025, a fuel crisis arose in Russia, leading to problems in various parts of the country. As a result, Moscow even banned the export of gasoline and diesel until the end of the year. Experts claim that Ukrainian cyberattacks on Russian oil companies caused production losses of over 20%.
