The use of loitering munitions 'Lightning' has especially intensified - by 42%.
Voloshyn emphasized: 'The greatest increase has been in the use of loitering munitions type 'Lightning' - by 42%.'
Features of 'Lightning'
The spokesperson emphasized that loitering munitions 'Lightning' pose a threat due to their long flight range, which allows them to be used deep into defensive territory.
Thus, Russian troops have significantly increased shelling in the southern regions of Ukraine, especially activating the use of long-range loitering munitions.
Ukrainian defense agencies have recorded a significant increase in attacks and the use of allied weapons, particularly loitering munitions 'Lightning', in the south of the country, indicating an escalation of Russian shelling in these regions.
