According to glavcom.ua: Two-time Grand Slam champion, former world number one Romanian tennis player Simona Halep talked about her life after finishing her career. She noted that while she is doing well without tennis, there are still some things she misses about it. It's not as easy to move, and her legs aren't as fast as they once were. Halep added that she feels tired, she was sometimes too emotional on the court, but still wasn't 100% ready to end her career. She announced her decision after the match with Lucia Bronzetti at the tournament in Cluj-Napoca.

"I didn't have a goal to end my career or anything like that, it was just a release. When I wake up in the morning, I have no more pain, and that's very unusual for me," Halep said.

The Romanian tennis player also shared that she has a serious knee problem that complicates her gym workouts. However, it doesn't prevent her from running in everyday life. For this reason, emotionally and due to tough moments, the last two to three years have been very difficult, and it was these circumstances that led Halep to end her career.

"Maybe if I decided to start running professionally again, it wouldn't work out, but in everyday life it doesn't affect me. I think this also pushed me to end my career"

Simona Halep talked about her feelings after ending her career, noting that it's not as easy to move and that her knee problems complicate her gym workouts. It is important for her that she can continue to run in everyday life despite this.
