Bohdan Borkovskiy and Daryna Chalik won in the sprint at the Ukrainian Summer Championship
According to glavcom.ua: As part of the Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship, sprint races were held for women and men. According to the results of the competitions, victories were achieved by Daryna Chalik and Bohdan Borkovskiy, as reported by sources in Главком and Suspilne Sport.
The tournament is one of the parts of preparation for the new 2025/26 season and we are looking forward to the 2026 Olympics. In the first two days, the winners of the mixed relay and the super sprint races among women and men were determined.
On the final day of the championship, women's and men's sprint races took place. Athletes from team 'A' participated, among whom we highlight Olena Horodna, Oleksandra and Anastasiia Merkusheva, Liliia Steblina, and Daryna Chalik among women, as well as Bohdan Borkovskiy among men.

In the men's sprint, victory was won by Bohdan Borkovskiy, who finished with a time of 17:23.7 minutes and one mistake on the shooting range. Second place was taken by Denys Nasiko, trailing the winner by 38.9 seconds, and 'bronze' was won by Roman Borovyk, who made no mistakes.

Dmytro Pidruchnyi and Taras Lesiuk decided to skip the Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship.
Ukrainian biathletes demonstrated a high level of preparation during the summer championship. The victories of Daryna Chalik and Bohdan Borkovskiy have become an important step towards successful participation in future competitions, including the 2026 Olympics.
