Battles for Hulyaipole: 27 clashes in a day and attempts by the occupiers to bypass the city

Situation in Hulyaipole

According to Главком: Fighting continues in Hulyaipole with Russian occupiers attempting to bypass the city. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding their positions, but the situation is complicated by the terrain. Over the past day, 27 combat clashes have been recorded in the Hulyaipole direction, while 31 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region remain under enemy fire.

Hulyaipole in Zaporizhzhia has turned into a gray zone, where fighting is ongoing on the western outskirts of the city. The enemy is trying to bypass Hulyaipole from the south and north. Battles are taking place in the following settlements:

• Zelene
• Varvarivka
• Dorozhnyanka
• Pryluky

In the past day, 52 strikes with guided bombs have been recorded, of which only one was on Hulyaipole.

As a result of the hostilities, three civilians were injured. As noted by Vladyslav Voloshyn,

'In Hulyaipole, there are no such battles anymore, as either our assault groups are entering, or the enemy is also trying to infiltrate and advance further.'
