According to Главком: Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukraine's Presidential Office, stated that the United States has not set any specific deadlines for concluding the war in Ukraine. He described the ongoing negotiations as a complex and multifaceted process, making it difficult to predict a precise timeline for their conclusion. Budanov emphasized:

“I am not aware of our American partners setting any specific deadlines for the war to end. Of course, we are doing everything possible to expedite it.” - Kyrylo Budanov

During a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Trump expressed a desire for the conflict to end as soon as possible, specifically stating he would like the war concluded within a month. However, Budanov stressed that sanctions against Russia must remain in place even after hostilities cease. He added:

“Russia must not have the opportunity to rebuild its economic potential to restore its arsenal. Frozen Russian assets and a significant portion of future revenues should be used to pay compensation and for Ukraine's reconstruction.” - Kyrylo Budanov
