Many employees across various sectors, from teachers to stockbrokers and military personnel, have already been fired or held accountable. The Pentagon has even made efforts to identify military members who made such comments.As a result of investigations, there have been firings, disciplinary sanctions, and even 'special oversight' in prison for the suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk. The latter has received a posthumous honor from the president in the form of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. All this is happening amidst heightened security measures activated in the wake of the tragedy.
