Russia is recruiting Ukrainian prisoners into four battalions: what is known
The Russian army is recruiting Ukrainian prisoners to participate in the war against Ukraine. According to the Coordination Headquarters, there are four units that are under the control of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. One example is the contracts of Ukrainian prisoners of war with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. With these contracts, they are forced to participate in the war against their own country.
Currently, the Coordination Headquarters already has verified information about 62 Ukrainian prisoners who have signed contracts with Russian authorities. This indicates that the recruitment of Ukrainian citizens is indeed taking place, and their lives are seriously at risk when they find themselves in captivity again - already to the Ukrainian army.
