Індикатор ШІ-музики для стрімінгу
Deezer представив безкоштовний інструмент на основі штучного інтелекту для виявлення музики, доступний для всіх платформ потокового прослуховування.

A New Milestone for the Music Industry

According to Главком: French streaming platform Deezer has unveiled a free online tool designed to identify whether music was created by humans or artificial intelligence. This service lets users scan their playlists for synthetic tracks, regardless of which streaming platform they subscribe to. The detector works with popular services including Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and YouTube Music.

Alexis Lanternier, CEO of Deezer, stated: 'No other company has followed our lead so far, which is why we decided to give all users the ability to check their playlists for synthetic music.'

The tool supports 27 languages and is compatible with 20 major streaming platforms. It examines audio files for specific frequency artifacts that may result from generators like Suno or Udio. Currently, 44% of all new music uploaded to the service is created using artificial intelligence. Approximately 75,000 such tracks are added daily, totaling over two million per month.

Challenges and Opportunities

Despite the massive influx of new music, the share of actual human listens for AI-generated songs remains extremely low-only between 1% and 3% of total streams. The platform identifies around 85% of AI-track plays as bot-driven manipulation or artificial inflation. Alexis Lanternier also emphasized that 'for many listeners around the world, this analysis will come as a real eye-opener.'

Deezer has been labeling AI-generated content for over a year and a half, reflecting the company's commitment to promoting transparency in the music industry.

The launch of this tool underscores the growing importance of transparency in the music industry, especially as artificial intelligence technologies advance rapidly. Deezer aims not only to make information about music more accessible but also to raise awareness about AI's impact on musical content. This could spark discussions about copyright, music quality, and the role of human creativity in the age of technology.

As the music industry adapts to the growing presence of artificial intelligence, other streaming platforms are also exploring innovative solutions. For instance, Spotify has introduced a new AI tool for creating cover songs and remixes, highlighting the competitive landscape in which Deezer operates. This trend underscores the need for transparency and awareness among listeners as AI-generated content continues to rise.
