Securing Kyiv Region's Social Infrastructure

According to Міністерство соц. політики: During a tour of social service centers and temporary housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs), Denis Ulyutin announced plans to equip Kyiv region's social infrastructure with independent power sources. He stressed that

"all social infrastructure facilities must be equipped with autonomous power"

, a critical step for improving living conditions for vulnerable populations. This initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen community resilience in the face of ongoing infrastructure challenges.

Inspection of Social Service Centers

Ulyutin's visit included the Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Social Services Center in Borodianka, which currently houses 468 people. He also reviewed operations at the "Ridni Liudy" ("Dear People") Permanent Residence Center in Vorzel, home to 72 elderly residents. Inspections at modular towns for IDPs in Irpin confirmed their heating supply, a vital provision for the winter season.

During discussions on facility needs, Ulyutin highlighted the necessity of providing nursing care services for IDPs. He also expressed gratitude to the organization World Central Kitchen for supplying warm meals, which are essential for maintaining the well-being of residents under difficult circumstances. Ensuring autonomous power and heating for social infrastructure is a critical component of support for internally displaced persons, especially during winter. These visits underscore the government's commitment to meeting the basic needs of people facing hardship. Furthermore, the focus on nursing care indicates a move toward a more comprehensive approach to improving IDPs' living conditions, which can aid their societal reintegration.
