According to НАЗК: The State Bureau of Investigations, together with the National Agency for Corruption Prevention, has brought charges against the former head of the Central Fuel and Lubricants Supply Department of the Armed Forces. The perpetrator illegally enriched himself by 17 million hryvnias, purchasing luxury real estate and vehicles, as well as other valuables, which are registered in his name and the names of relatives.

According to the NACP data, during the period of 2023–2024, the former official acquired 14 plots of land, an apartment, several cars, and bonds, investing illegally obtained funds into these acquisitions. It should be noted that no legal income for such expenditures has been identified.

'No legal sources for such purchases have been found for the accused and his family,' emphasized representatives of the NACP.

Experts, having analyzed the financial condition of the former official and his close relatives, confirmed that their income could not justify such luxurious acquisitions. The recipient of the indictment is also suspected of illegal trafficking in weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

As a result of the investigation, facts of corruption by the former chief have been uncovered, who did not even attempt to conceal his illegal income and luxury purchases. He has been charged with serious accusations that may lead to severe consequences, including imprisonment and confiscation of property.
