Traffic accident on the Kyiv-Chop highway: nine injured, including four children
According to glavcom.ua: According to police information, a Volvo driven by a 42-year-old resident of the capital and a Peugeot minibus driven by a 49-year-old resident of Kyiv region were involved in the accident. As a result of the crash, the minibus skidded into a ditch and overturned.
On the Zhytomyr section of the Kyiv-Chop highway near the village of Povchynyi in the Zviahel district, a collision occurred between a car and a minibus on August 22. As a result of this traffic accident, nine residents of Kyiv region were injured, including four children. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' referring to the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region.
- Nine passengers of the minibus, who are also residents of Kyiv region, were injured in the accident.
- A 16-year-old girl and a 53-year-old woman were hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
- Six more people with varying degrees of injury were taken to the hospital for further examination and treatment, including two children aged 10 and 13, a 16-year-old girl, and four women aged 32, 39, 48, and 78.
The police urged everyone to adhere to traffic rules and be cautious on the road, avoiding risky behavior, considering weather conditions, and the state of the road.
Recently, there was also an accident involving a minibus in the Zhytomyr region, where representatives of the 'Uzhhorod' football club were injured.
