Six-Year Milestone for Ukraine's Digital Education Platform

According to Мінцифра: Marking its sixth anniversary, the Diia.Osvita platform was launched in 2019 after digital literacy was declared a strategic national priority by the President of Ukraine. This initiative led to the first-ever nationwide assessment of digital competencies. Today, 58% of Ukrainians possess basic or higher-level digital skills, a figure that aligns with the European Union's average. This progress is particularly significant as digital competency is crucial for Ukraine's post-war recovery and economic resilience.

Educational Resources Available

Over the past six years, the platform has developed a comprehensive library of learning materials to foster digital literacy, including:

  • 236 educational series
  • 299 skill bytes
  • 86 guides
  • 69 simulators
  • 16 webinars
  • 12 tests
  • 2 podcasts

These resources are designed to enhance the population's digital competence and practical skills.

Diia.Osvita has become a cornerstone of state policy for advancing the nation's digital capabilities, which is vital for Ukraine's integration into the global digital society. The rise in digital literacy among citizens is expected to bolster the country's competitiveness in the international information space and contribute to its broader economic development.
