Dynamo lost to Paphos in the Champions League: what does it mean for the Ukrainian club

On Tuesday, August 5, Kyiv's 'Dynamo' played their first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League. This is reported by 'Glavkom'. The team played at the 'Arena Lublin' stadium in Lublin, where they lost to Cyprus' 'Paphos' with a score of 0:1.

At the final stage of the attack, Dubinchak broke through to the goal from the left flank and decided to shoot from a sharp angle, aiming for the near top corner, but the ball hit the goalpost and went out of play.

In the second half, in the 62nd minute, the referee awarded a penalty against 'Paphos' after Vanat fell in the opponent's penalty area. Vladislav made a sharp pass to the edge of the goalkeeper's area, setting up Yarmolenko. However, after reviewing the video replay, Sandro Scherer canceled the penalty kick.

In the 84th minute of the game, a corner by 'Dynamo' turned into a counterattack for the opponents, which Anderson finished successfully.
