According to Главком: Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, has appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the United Nations (UN) regarding the possible murder of seven civilians in Pokrovsk. This incident may have occurred on the night of December 21. Lubinets emphasized the seriousness of the situation, noting that the case shocks with its brutality and cynicism.

According to information, the Russians shot three fighters of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on December 20, 2025, in an area located south of Hulyaipole. Lubinets highlighted the importance of international response, stating:

He also drew attention to the fact that intentional killings of civilians are a gross violation of international humanitarian law and a war crime.
