Dnipropetrovsk region will receive more electricity: how it will affect the heating season
According to Кулеба: During a working trip to Dnipropetrovsk region, I met with the heads of cities and villages, and people's deputies. The main topic of discussion is the situation on the ground, the heating season, transportation and logistics amid the threats of war. Energy supply in the region was also discussed.
Dnipropetrovsk region is an important industrial region for Ukraine. The operation of enterprises depends on a stable supply of electricity, which in turn affects the economy and employment of the residents.
“The issue of the energy resilience of the region is of national importance. Together with the Ministry of Energy, we plan to increase the available volumes of electricity and balance the loads in energy networks,” explained the government representative.
One of the important tasks is to ensure the stable operation of the economy, communal infrastructure, and social facilities in the region. This is already affecting the heating season, which is proceeding without interruptions in communities, including Kryvyi Rih.
In addition, the communities are developing their own energy capabilities. In particular, a cogeneration project is being implemented, which allows reducing the load on electricity networks and providing heat to thousands of residents.
Protection of critical facilities and support for territories
A separate topic of discussion was the physical protection of critical infrastructure facilities. Together with the Recovery Agency, work is ongoing in the communities of the region to improve the security of facilities against possible threats.
“Dnipropetrovsk region remains a key transit region for internally displaced persons, so special attention is paid to supporting frontline territories and developing social housing projects,” emphasized the government representative.
The dialogue with the communities is constructive, and joint efforts allow achieving positive results in improving the living conditions of the population in the district.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, the energy supply system is actively being developed, which plays a crucial role in supporting industry and the socio-economic development of the region. Efforts to enhance energy resilience and protect critical infrastructure facilities are becoming a key aspect for ensuring the development of Dnipropetrovsk.
