Zelensky on strikes against Russia: Ukraine uses only its own weapons
According to hvylya.net: The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky denies rumors about the use of American long-range weapons for attacks on Russia. He emphasized that such strikes are carried out exclusively with Ukrainian means, which are capable of reaching targets at a distance of up to 3000 kilometers.
'I don’t know who is writing what. We have never used American weapons for long-range targets on Russian territory. This is important. We used various weapons with decent capabilities, but it was strictly on the territory of combat operations or in preparation for combat missions,' Zelensky stated.
The president also noted the achievements of the Ukrainian defense industry in creating means for long-range strikes and called for additional funding for the development of long-range weapons.
Peace plan and refusal to exchange territories
As part of the peace plan, Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's readiness for negotiations with Russia, but noted that the main requirements include a ceasefire and participation in talks. The president rejected the idea of exchanging territories, stressing that it violates the country's sovereignty.
'It's not an exchange when you trade your territory for your territory. It's not an exchange when you trade nothing for your territory. It's just someone's desires,' Zelensky explained.
The president also expressed his position on relations with China and rejected Putin's proposal regarding the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Donbas, remaining vigilant of national sovereignty.
