According to glavcom.ua: In the evening of August 20, an explosion occurred in Donetsk, which is currently under temporary occupation. This is reported by monitoring channels, according to 'Glavcom'. According to their data, the city was attacked by strike drones, leading to fires and smoke spreading in the streets.
Local public pages shared videos and photos from the scene. Recall that at the end of July, explosions also occurred in occupied Donetsk. Then, Petro Andryushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation and former advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, reported an attack on the Kyiv district of the city. Eight hits on the occupiers' bases and railway infrastructure were recorded.
Violence has flared up again in Donetsk, demonstrating instability and tension in the region. All events indicate that the conflict in eastern Ukraine is ongoing and its consequences are affecting the civilian population, posing a threat to the safety and lives of citizens.
