'School Package' program in Ukraine

According to hvylya.net: The state program 'School Package' helps to acquire stationery, books, children's clothing, and shoes for first-grade students. Orphans and those who are without parental care can receive it, but not those studying abroad or in temporarily occupied territories.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 809, one of the parents or legal representative of the first grader can receive the 'School Package'.

If orphans or those without parental care, their legal representative may be a representative of a family-type children's home, a foster family, or a person with whom the child is temporarily placed in the absence of parental care and permanently resides in Ukraine.

Conditions for receiving aid

First graders who are abroad or in temporarily occupied territories are not entitled to aid. However, if they return, they can receive their share.

Parents can apply for assistance through the 'Diia' app, and the received money must be spent cashlessly. The 'School Package' is available after registering the child in school, which the Pension Fund will notify participants about.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has paid the 'School Package' in the amount of 5 thousand hryvnias for first graders.

The program aims to support families with children and encourage them to stay in Ukraine for a successful start to the school year.

The state program 'School Package' provides assistance in acquiring necessary items for first graders in Ukrainian families. This will serve as a useful incentive for parents to remain in Ukraine and provide children with a comfortable start to school life.
