Oleg Doroshchuk stopped a step away from the medal at the World Championships 2025 in high jump
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian athlete Oleg Doroshchuk participated in the 2025 World Athletics Championships and almost reached the podium in high jump.
This was Doroshchuk's second final at the World Championships. Previously, he won gold at the Indoor Euro and regularly finished in prize places at the Diamond League stages.
How the final went
In the final at a height of 2.28 m, there were nine participants, including Doroshchuk, who successfully cleared all three heights on the first attempts.
Two other athletes also managed to clear 2.28 m, but at a height of 2.34 m, only three athletes continued the fight for medals, while Oleg Doroshchuk, finishing fourth, lost his chances for a podium.
