Ukraine's budget received 71 billion more: results of the State Tax Service's work
The State Tax Service of Ukraine reported that it managed to exceed the revenue plan by 71 billion hryvnias over 8 months. This is 108.9% of the plan for this period, and in August it reached 100.1%.
'Together with each taxpayer, we are overcoming serious challenges. From January to August, 868.3 billion UAH was received in the state budget's general fund. Compared to the same period last year, this is nearly +173 billion UAH (+24.9%)', emphasized Acting Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Lesya Karnaukh.
Lesya Karnaukh also noted that planned indicators were increased according to changes in the state budget. Despite this, in August, the SFS successfully met the plans, collecting 131.8 billion UAH.
Tax collection indicators in August
The following tax and fee collection indicators, controlled by the SFS, were achieved in August:
- Personal income tax – 30.7 billion UAH
- Corporate profit tax – 51.1 billion UAH
- VAT – 38.0 billion UAH
- VAT refunds – 14.6 billion UAH
- Excise tax – 15.6 billion UAH
- Rent – 6.1 billion UAH
- Other revenues – 5.0 billion UAH
In recent months, the State Tax Service of Ukraine has achieved success in tax collection, exceeding planned indicators and collecting 131.8 billion UAH in August alone. This indicates positive trends in the country's economy and careful attention to payments by Ukrainian citizens and businesses.
