Ukrainian gymnasts reached the finals of the World Championships 2025: names and disciplines

On the first day of qualifications, six Ukrainians fought for a place in the finals: Nazar Chepurnyi, Bohdan Suprun, Vladyslav Hryko, Ihor Dushyuk, Dmytro Prudko, and Sviatoslav Shved. As a result of the qualifications, Nazar qualified for the vault final with a score of 14.316 points, and Vladyslav qualified for the all-around with a score of 75.932 points. For Chepurnyi, this is already his third appearance in the World Championship final in this discipline - he won bronze in 2023 and finished seventh in 2021. Hryko, on the other hand, reached the World Championship final for the first time in his career.

According to glavcom.ua: Two Ukrainian gymnasts - Nazar Chepurnyi and Vladyslav Hryko - reached the finals of the 2025 World Championships in artistic gymnastics taking place in Jakarta. This was reported by 'Hlavkom'. Chepurnyi will compete in the vault final, while Hryko will compete in the all-around.

• October 22, 14:00 - all-around
• October 25, 09:30 - vault

We remind you that Ukraine ranked in the top 10 of the overall medal standings at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing in 10th place. The Ukrainian team has 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This marks the second most successful performance of Ukraine in the history of participation in the Festivals since 1993! The only time the 'blue-yellow' team won more medals was in 2019 when they secured 25 awards.

The most successful sport was judo - our athletes won six medals, including bronze in the mixed team tournament on the final competitive day. In addition to judo, representatives of other sports such as swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis also earned awards for Ukraine.

Representatives of Ukraine in artistic gymnastics have achieved good results at the World Championships, demonstrating a competitive level in this discipline. Ukrainian gymnasts proved to be among the best, and we wish them success in the finals!
