Men's Biathlon Sprint Results at the Olympics

According to Главком: In the men's biathlon sprint event at the Olympics, four Ukrainian athletes competed. The race was won by French biathlete Quentin Fillon Maillet. Two Ukrainians, Vitalii Mandzyn and Dmytro Pidruchnyi, finished within the top 30, earning them qualification for the upcoming pursuit race. This is a significant achievement, as the pursuit event allows athletes to build on their sprint results.

Vitalii Mandzyn placed 24th with one penalty loop, while Dmytro Pidruchnyi finished 27th with two penalty loops. Their teammates, Bohdan Borkovskyi and Anton Dudchenko, placed 63rd and 88th, respectively. Bohdan Borkovskyi, a 21-year-old, was making his Olympic debut at these Games.

Norwegian biathletes filled the other podium spots, with Vetle Christiansen taking silver and Sturla Lægreid winning bronze.
