The eYasla program from January 1: how to receive compensation for a nanny through Diya
The 'eYasla' program for parents of children aged 1 to 3 years promises to ease the lives of Ukrainian families. Its launch is planned for the beginning of next year. According to information provided, Ukrainians were informed that the new initiative provides compensation for childcare services, allowing parents to combine work and care for their little ones.
'The funds are designated for a specific purpose, so to speak, earmarked funds,' emphasized the minister.
The goal of the program is to help parents return to work after the first year of a child's life. The minister clarified that the lack of available kindergartens and childcare services leads to one parent being forced to stay at home. The 'eYasla' initiative aims to address this issue and stimulate the development of the childcare services market.
'We want to stimulate not only the return of parents to work but also the development of the care services market. If there are no nurseries, a nanny can be paid. This way, we create demand and send a signal to businesses and communities to develop these services,' underlined Ulyutin.
The program is scheduled to start in early 2025, and payments will be made through the 'Diya' app. The cost of services will be uniform across the country, and for children with special needs, the compensation amount will be doubled.
The 'eYasla' program is an initiative aimed at assisting parents in balancing work and childcare, as well as stimulating the development of the childcare services market in Ukraine, facilitating parents' return to work after the birth of a child.
