The New Warfare: A Battle of Technology and Logistics

According to ХВИЛЯ: Political expert Yuriy Romanenko, speaking on his channel, framed the modern conflict as a war of technology and logistics. He argued that with adequate technical support, large-scale offensive operations by the enemy become impossible. Romanenko stressed that a breakthrough can only occur where a gap in command or supply emerges on the frontline. This perspective highlights how the nature of combat in Ukraine has shifted dramatically from earlier, more conventional wars.

Critical Threats to Defensive Capabilities

The expert pointed to critical internal threats to defense, which include:

  • internal bureaucratic sabotage within the military-industrial complex;
  • inadequate quality of fortifications.

According to him, on any specific section of the front, if there are sufficient drones and artillery shells, the enemy cannot achieve a major breakthrough. Any concentration of enemy equipment or personnel is detected and destroyed on its approach.

"To prevent these breakthroughs, it is essential to provide the military with the necessary tools."

Another vital aspect is the quality of fortifications. Romanenko noted that defense must be built not merely on digging trenches for reports, but on creating a layered, echeloned defense utilizing modern surveillance. This allows the front to be held with fewer personnel but greater effectiveness. He emphasized that with the technical superiority a modern defense industry can provide, an enemy breakthrough is impossible.

Yuriy Romanenko's statements underscore the critical importance of defense efficiency in modern warfare, where technological edge and logistics are decisive. The successful fulfillment of military contracts and the speed of their execution can significantly impact the ability of Ukrainian forces to resist aggression. This points to the necessity of optimizing internal processes within the defense sector to prevent potential threats on the frontline.
