Estonian figure skater Selehko won silver at the Grand Prix: a historic success for the country
According to glavcom.ua: Estonian figure skater Alexander Selehko captivated the audience at the Grand Prix stage in Canada in Saskatoon, where he finished in second place and set a new personal best with a total score of 257.21. In the short program, he also improved his previous record, scoring 91.28 points and taking third place. In the free program, the figure skater received 165.93 points, which earned him silver.

World figure skating star Ilia Malinin convincingly won the Grand Prix stage in Canada, showing a total score of 333.81 points. Malinin also set a new world record in the free program - 228.97 points. Japanese skater Kaito Miura took third place, scoring 253.69 points and outpacing his compatriot Kazuki Tomono.
Ukraine ranked 10th in the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival with 5 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze medals. This was the second most successful performance of Ukrainian athletes in the history of the Festivals, following the success of 2019.
