Frederic Massara Takes on Technical Director Role
According to Главком: Juventus has officially named Frederic Massara as their new technical director. Born and raised in Turin, Massara came through the youth system of local rivals Torino but never made a first-team appearance for them. During his playing career, he is best known for his time at Pescara and Palermo, where he appeared in 27 Serie A matches.
In 2008, Massara transitioned off the pitch, becoming a business manager at Palermo. He later held roles at Roma as business manager, secretary, and sporting director. From 2019 to 2023, he served as sporting director of AC Milan. For the 2024/25 season, he was brought in by French club Rennes. At Juventus, he will report directly to Giovanni Carnevali.

Alongside this appointment, Giorgio Chiellini has been named Juventus's director of club affairs. Meanwhile, Inter Milan has parted ways with goalkeeper Yann Sommer, as well as defenders Francesco Acerbi, Daley Blind, and Matteo Darmian, whose contracts all ran until June 30. In other news, Bologna has appointed Domenico Tedesco as head coach on a two-year deal, with an option for an additional season.
