According to glavcom.ua: The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has announced updates to the voting rules for 'Eurovision', aimed at increasing transparency and trust among viewers.
New rules
The changes include a ban on participants conducting advertising or marketing campaigns that may influence voting. Additionally, the maximum number of votes per payment method will be reduced from 20 to 10 to encourage greater audience participation.
The role of the jury
In the semi-finals, a 50/50 voting system will be implemented, meaning a balance between the votes of the jury and the viewers. This will also reduce opportunities for undue influence on the voting results.
Participant Jamala has already expressed her position on the changes proposed for 'Eurovision'.
