European Bank for Reconstruction announces new projects for Ukraine at URC2025
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is preparing to sign new projects in the fields of energy, finance, human capital, and municipal infrastructure in Ukraine during the country recovery conference (URC2025). The bank intends to focus on energy security, distributed generation, and renewable energy sources, as well as providing risk mitigation tools for investors in RES.
In addition, the EBRD has taken on the management of the Ukraine FIRST fund to simplify the planning, financing, and implementation of recovery projects in Ukraine, while the European Investment Bank (EIB) will administer a parallel fund.
Thus, the EBRD is actively expanding its activities in Ukraine, stimulating the development of the energy, finance, and infrastructure sectors, which will contribute to the overall growth of the country and enhance its competitiveness.
