According to Главком: As of the morning of June 30, 2026, Ukraine’s General Staff has released the latest estimates of Russian losses. The full-scale war has now entered its 1,588th day. The updated data covers destroyed personnel, military equipment, and the approximate financial cost of these losses.
Russia’s total estimated combat losses since the invasion began now stand at roughly 1,403,550 personnel, with 1,350 of those killed in just the past 24 hours. Equipment losses reported include:
- 12,067 tanks (+1)
- 24,851 armored fighting vehicles (+6)
- 45,040 artillery systems (+71)
- 1,901 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 1,455 air defense units (+1).
In the air domain, Russian forces have lost 436 aircraft and 353 helicopters-both figures unchanged from the previous report. The number of tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has decreased by 1,952, bringing the total to 381,176 units destroyed. Additionally, 4,797 cruise missiles remain destroyed (no change), along with 33 naval vessels and boats (unchanged) and 2 submarines (also unchanged). Losses of trucks and fuel tankers amount to 114,104 units (+492), while specialized equipment losses total 4,368 units (+2).

As of June 30, 2026, the estimated financial value of destroyed Russian equipment is as follows:
- Destroyed cruise missiles: approximately $14.39 billion (based on an average cost of $3 million per missile).
- Drones: roughly $11.44 billion (at an estimated $30,000 per unit).
- Destroyed aircraft: $13.08 billion (average $30 million per aircraft).
- Helicopters: $5.29 billion (average $15 million per helicopter).
- Lost tanks: $30.17 billion (average $2.5 million per tank).
- Artillery systems: $67.56 billion (average $1.5 million per system).
- Armored fighting vehicles: approximately $14.91 billion (median price $600,000 per vehicle).
- Air defense systems: $21.83 billion (average $15 million per system).
- Ships and boats: $1.98 billion (average $60 million per vessel).
- Submarines: $600 million.
These figures are estimates, as only Ukraine’s General Staff holds the precise breakdown by destroyed equipment variant.
