According to Главком: Ukraine’s Armed Forces General Staff has published the latest statistics on Russian occupier losses as of May 18, 2026. The toll across personnel and various equipment categories reflects the ongoing hostilities, now in their 1,545th day. For context, this update comes amid sustained combat operations that have reshaped the conflict’s dynamics over more than four years.

Overall Casualties

According to the report, Russia’s total personnel losses have reached approximately 1,350,010, including 1,220 killed in the past 24 hours. Key equipment losses include:

  • Tanks – 11,939 (plus 1 in the last day)
  • Armored combat vehicles – 24,583 (+5)
  • Artillery systems – 42,262 (+47)
  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 1,792 (+2)
  • Air defense systems – 1,386 (+2)
  • Aircraft – 436 (no change)

Additional losses include 353 helicopters (+1), 1,415 ground robotic complexes (+5), and 297,057 tactical-level UAVs (+1,603).
