Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated 7 settlements in Donetsk region: enemy losses exceeded 1200 personnel

Cleared settlements

According to the General Staff, units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine cleared settlements in the Donetsk region, including the cities of Hruzke, Rubizhne, Novovodyane, Petrivka, Vesele, Zoloty Kolyadzy. In addition, the 7th Army Corps of the Assault Troops cleared the city of Pokrovsk.

• sanitary losses – 335 personnel;
• prisoners of war – 37 personnel.

A significant amount of enemy equipment and armaments was destroyed and damaged, including 8 tanks, 6 armored combat vehicles, 103 units of automotive and motorcycle equipment, one MLRS, 18 guns, and 91 unmanned aerial vehicles.

Stabilization actions

The General Staff reported that stabilization actions in the direction of the city of Dobropillya in Donetsk region are ongoing. Ukrainian units have also advanced in several locations, including the area of Yablunivka in Sumy region.

Destruction of enemy depot

In Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, a Russian ammunition depot and personnel of the occupiers were eliminated. The operation took place on August 16, 2025, during an explosion in the industrial zone of the city, where a deployment point of Russian forces was located.
