According to Главком: On June 9, 2026, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released an updated tally of Russian losses, recorded as of that date. The report covers destroyed military equipment and an estimated financial value of those losses. This marks the 1,567th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, a conflict that continues to exact a heavy toll on both sides.

Personnel and Equipment Losses

According to the data, Russian personnel losses total approximately 1,376,320, with daily losses of 1,370. Significant equipment losses were also reported:

  • Tanks destroyed: 12,001 (daily losses: 4)
  • Armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) lost: 24,710 (daily losses: 5)
  • Artillery systems destroyed: 43,639 (daily losses: 75)
  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) lost: 1,851 (daily losses: 4)
  • Air defense systems lost: 1,411 (daily losses: 2)
  • Aircraft destroyed: 436 (no daily losses)
  • Helicopters destroyed: 353 (no daily losses)
  • Ground robotic complexes lost: 1,614 (daily losses: 7)
  • Tactical-level UAVs lost: 338,327 (daily losses: 2,103)
  • Cruise missiles destroyed: 4,733 (no daily losses)
  • Naval losses: 33 ships/boats and 2 submarines

The estimated cost of Russia’s destroyed equipment was also provided. Cruise missile losses are valued at around $14.20 billion, UAVs at $10.15 billion, aircraft at $13.08 billion, and helicopters at $5.29 billion. Tank losses are pegged at $30 billion, artillery systems at roughly $65.46 billion, and AFVs at $14.83 billion. Air defense system losses are estimated at $21.17 billion, while naval losses total $1.98 billion for ships/boats and $600 million for submarines.

These calculations are approximate, as only the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine knows the precise breakdown by destroyed equipment modification.

The data underscores the conflict’s duration and scale, highlighting the vast resources Russia has expended on the war.
