Cash or card: how much money can be transported across the border

The State Customs Service of Ukraine explained the rules of transporting cash across the border. Everyone can take out up to 10,000 euros without declaration. However, if the amount exceeds that, a customs declaration must be filled out and documents on the origin of the funds must be provided.

According to the official exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine, cash up to 10,000 euros can be transported without any additional formalities. But if you are carrying more money, be prepared for documents and declaration!
