Georgia sends aid to Ukraine

According to Главком: Georgia has sent generators worth 1.5 million lari and humanitarian cargo to Ukraine. The Georgian Energy Development Fund has dispatched nine generators to Ukraine, purchased for a total of 1.5 million lari, which exceeds 500 thousand dollars. This initiative was approved by the Georgian government on October 31.

In addition to the generators, humanitarian cargo will also be delivered to Ukraine. This aid includes:

  • three trucks of instant soup, which were sent by Pope Leo XIII.

The humanitarian cargo will be delivered to the Georgian embassy in Kyiv and will reach Ukraine by land within a few days.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has also confirmed the European Union's stance on supporting Ukraine. This aid from Georgia is part of a broader international support effort flowing into Ukraine amid a challenging humanitarian situation.

This initiative by Georgia underscores the importance of international solidarity and support for Ukraine in the context of the ongoing conflict.
