Russia creates unbearable conditions in Donbas: residents are mass leaving their homes
Russia continues to force residents of occupied territories to leave due to water supply problems. Experts claim this is part of the Kremlin's strategy to replace the local population with 'loyal' Russians. The situation in the occupied regions resembles a humanitarian disaster caused by the violation of basic human needs.
‘Russia does not need the local residents. They want these people either to leave or simply disappear’, emphasized expert Nikolai Osichenko.
Analogous to the history of deportations in Kaliningrad, a new population may arrive in the occupied territories of Donbas. The lack of prospects, disorder, and government incapacity make this situation increasingly critical, causing despair and disappointment among the residents.
Mass departures due to water supply problems are also part of this process, worsening the situation and pushing more people to leave their homes in the occupied territories.
