According to glavcom.ua:
Olia Poliakovа expressed a desire to review some rules for artists' participation in the National Selection for Eurovision. The artist sent an official letter to 'Public Broadcasting', outlining her position. Producer Mykhailo Yasyinskiy, who collaborates with Poliakovа, supported the initiative to review the eligibility of artists in the national selection.
Mykhailo Yasyinskiy noted that the rules for participation in the National Selection for Eurovision need to be revised, as they are selective. Artists who performed in the territory of the Russian Federation and occupied territories after 2014 are currently not allowed to participate in the selection. It is worth noting that singer Alyona Alyona previously expressed certain restrictions when collaborating with 'Public Broadcasting'.
Olia Poliakovа together with producer Mykhailo Yasyinskiy put forward an initiative to review the rules in the National Selection for Eurovision. They believe that the restrictions related to artists' performance locations require attention and possible adjustment for greater equality and accessibility for Ukrainian musicians.
