Compensations for destroyed housing will continue to be paid

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: The Ukrainian government supported the decision to allocate 609 million UAH for further compensation payments for destroyed housing within the framework of the 'eRecovery' program. These funds will be allocated from the Fund for Liquidation of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

This money will allow approximately 9,000 families to restore their housing damaged as a result of Russian attacks. The main focus will be on current repairs, which under the restrictions will not exceed 200,000 UAH.

"Every day, Russia strikes critical civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings. We need to ensure the fastest possible access for people affected by the aggression of the terrorist state to housing assistance. The 'eRecovery' program is the most effective way to obtain compensation for the restoration of destroyed housing or to acquire new housing instead of the destroyed one. We must ensure its stable operation so that every family can return their housing to a proper condition as quickly as possible," emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Community Development and Territories Oleksiy Kuleba

The need for additional funding arose due to the increase in the number of applications for repairs after new attacks. These funds will help avoid delays in providing aid and ensure the continuous operation of the 'eRecovery' program.

So far, more than 150,000 families have benefited from the 'eRecovery' program. Compensations for the restoration of damaged housing within this program have been received by more than 116,500 families.
