Man Faces Prison for Setting Ex-Wife's Car on Fire, Suffers Burns

According to Прокуратура Київ: The Desnyansky District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv has sent an indictment to court concerning a man who set a car on fire. The incident occurred in the evening near the home of the suspect's former wife. The targeted Hyundai belonged to her current cohabiting partner.

The vehicle was completely destroyed in the blaze, and the suspect himself sustained burns to his hands and face. This type of crime is a serious issue in many jurisdictions. The man's actions have been formally charged under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
