According to Прокуратура Київ: A 39-year-old woman has been sentenced to seven years in prison by a Kyiv court for the killing of her 34-year-old male housemate. The Dnipro District Court delivered the verdict, finding the defendant guilty under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which covers intentional homicide.

The fatal incident occurred in July 2025 during a conflict at their shared residence. The woman inflicted nine stab wounds on the man, who died at the scene before emergency medical services could arrive.
