Forum in Kyiv

According to hvylya.net: The National Forum 'From Destruction to Recovery: Ensuring Effective Access to Compensation Mechanism' took place in Kyiv.

According to the Ministry of Community Development, the main topic of discussion was compensation for destroyed housing. The participants discussed the technical and legal aspects of the mechanism, the work of local commissions, and future steps to expand state support for affected citizens.

'Ukraine has become the first country in the world to implement recovery during wartime and has launched a transparent, effective, and large-scale housing compensation system. More than 100,000 families have already received assistance for repairs or the purchase of new housing. Each payment is not just a number, but a restoration of justice and a return to a decent life.'

, - emphasized Natalia Kozlovska, Deputy Minister.

eRecovery Program

Currently, under the eRecovery program:

  • over 97,000 families have received compensation for destroyed housing amounting to 9.7 billion hryvnias;
  • almost 12,500 certificates for new housing worth 20 billion hryvnias have been issued;
  • 580 citizens have received the first tranche for the recovery of housing on their land plots amounting to over 713 million hryvnias.

A remote inspection opportunity for housing in areas of active hostilities was recently implemented. This method allows commissions to document destroyed buildings without going on-site, using photo and video materials.

During the National Forum in Kyiv, the issues of compensation for destroyed housing, the technical and legal aspects of the mechanism, and future steps to support affected citizens were discussed. Ukraine is rapidly developing the housing compensation system, having already assisted more than 100,000 families.
