Inside the Constitutional Court: A Rare Look at the Secretariat's Inner Workings
Lecture Series Event Marks 30th Anniversary of Ukraine's Constitutional Court
According to Конституційний суд: On June 4, 2026, the fourth lecture in a series celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine took place. The session focused on the operations of structural units within the Secretariat's Department of Organizational Work, with Judge Halyna Yurovska serving as moderator. Oleksandra Spincheska, Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Directorate, detailed how her unit has managed approximately 2,000 Grand Chamber sessions since the new Law on the Constitutional Court came into effect. - Hanna Rakhal'ska, Deputy Head of the Directorate and Head of the Grand Chamber Support Section
- Viktoriia Kukharets, Deputy Head of the Directorate and Head of the Senate and Collegium Session Support Section
- Nadiia Sytnychenko, Head of the Session Information Processing Section
- Mykola Harashchuk, Head of the Court Usher Service
The second segment focused on the Editorial and Publishing Directorate, presented by Svitlana Sydorenko, Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Directorate. Yana Skrynnyk, Executive Secretary of the editorial board, added details on preparing the Court's official publication, the "Bulletin of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine." Sydorenko remarked:
'The Secretariat operates like a precise clock mechanism, where each unit functions as a cog that sets the entire process in motion.'
The final segment highlighted the Organizational Support and Hardware Operations Directorate. Yaroslav Michuda, Deputy Head of the Department of Organizational Work and Head of the Directorate, outlined the unit's activities. Liudmyla Danyliuk, Head of the Organizational Work Section, and Olha Dzhereleiko-Holska, Head of the Document Support Section, also shared insights into their responsibilities and contributions to the Secretariat's overall workflow.
