Constitutional Court of Ukraine Hosts Online Lecture

According to Конституційний суд: On February 12, 2026, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine organized an online lecture focused on Poland's Constitutional Tribunal. The lecture, titled 'The Constitutional Court of Poland in the Human Rights Protection System – From Idea to Reality,' was delivered by European Court of Human Rights Judge Anna Adamczyk-Gallant. History and Challenges of Poland's Constitutional Tribunal

Poland's Constitutional Tribunal was established in 1982, with its regulatory framework finalized in 1985. A significant milestone was the constitutional reform of 1997. However, in 2015, the Polish Sejm passed a new Law on the Constitutional Tribunal, triggering a constitutional crisis that continues to this day. The Polish experience serves as a critical case study for other nations navigating the complex relationship between political change and judicial integrity.
