The counteroffensive near Kindrativka affected the security situation in Sumy region

Not far from the village of Kindrativka in the Sumy region, attacks on Ukrainian border guards have decreased after Ukrainian troops liberated this settlement from the occupiers. This was stated by the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko during a telemarathon.

According to the border service representative, the liberation of Kindrativka allowed to strengthen defense nearby. 'The number of attacks on our positions has decreased. Now there is no such activity here as at the beginning of the enemy actions in the Sumy region,' he noted.

The spokesperson emphasized that thanks to the defensive and counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian forces, the occupiers cannot advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine. This is particularly noticeable in the Yunakivka and Khotyn communities, where the enemy does not stop its attempts but faces staunch resistance.

Ukrainian border guards noted that the liberation of settlements from the occupiers and their retention by the Ukrainian forces helps reduce tension in the region and improves the defense capability of border units.
