NABU detained a corrupt official for 102 million: how money was stolen for dynamic protection

Preventive measure applied to the former CEO of the state enterprise

According to НАБУ: NABU and SAP requested the court to apply a preventive measure to the former CEO of the state enterprise suspected of embezzling over 102 million UAH during the procurement of dynamic protection for military equipment.

The court decided to keep the suspect in custody or bail at 30 million 280 thousand UAH, while imposing certain obligations on him. The preventive measure will be effective until mid-February 2026.

ℹDuring the investigation, it was revealed that the suspects used fictitious companies to procure and launder money. As a result, the total damage amounts to over 102 million UAH.

According to the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty by existing laws in a court verdict.
