According to glavcom.ua: Romania has announced its return to Eurovision after a break related to financial difficulties and not the best results in previous performances. The CEO of SRTv stated that the country wants to make the participant selection more competitive and prepare a high-level performance.

It is worth noting that Romania has participated in Eurovision since 1994, but has not yet won. Thus, fans of the contest can expect an exciting return of this country to the international music stage.
