Currency forecast: what to expect in March

Financial analyst Andrii Shevchishin forecasts that March and April may be relatively favorable for the hryvnia. According to him, even the blockade of the EU loan is not currently putting significant pressure on the market.

The expert notes that with the warming, agricultural producers will become active, providing additional currency supply.

Regarding the euro, the cash rate is expected to be within 51.0-51.5 UAH, and it is unlikely to drop below 50.5 UAH in the interbank market. The dollar, according to the forecast, may maintain an upward trend with a cash range of 43.25-43.75 UAH.

Earlier, economist Oleksandr Khmelevskyi noted that the state budget has laid down an average annual rate of 45.7 UAH per dollar, which allows the NBU to gradually devalue the hryvnia.

Recall that according to new rules, Ukrainians have the right to export cash abroad up to 10 thousand euros or its equivalent in other currencies without mandatory written declaration.
