Russia is storming Donbas before autumn impassability: officer on the emergency situation
According to glavcom.ua: The situation at the front is very difficult right now. The Russian troops are advancing on Donbas, trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian forces before the onset of autumn impassability. This was reported by officer Andriy Ilienko of the 3rd battalion 'Svoboda' of the 4th Operational Brigade of the National Guard 'Rubizh', noting that the enemy is attacking so aggressively as if it were their last chance.
«Either the Muscovites want to make it before the onset of autumn impassability, or the fifth deadline for capturing all of Donbas is burning, or everything together – but they are attacking as if it were the last time,» Andriy Ilienko said.
He also noted that fierce battles are being fought in the devastated villages and positions. 'The autumn battle for Donbas is ongoing,' Ilienko emphasized.
The choice of every Ukrainian in wartime
In his interview with the 'Glavkom' newspaper, Andriy Ilienko emphasized that the war will last a long time and every Ukrainian must realize their choice: whether to defend their state or risk finding themselves on the side of the enemy. According to him, indifference and waiting for a truce can have negative consequences, so it is necessary to direct all efforts towards strengthening defense capabilities.
The current situation at the front is critical, and it is important for Ukrainians to understand the complexity of circumstances and to actively participate in defending the country from external aggression, as the war may last a long time and will require mobilization of all national resources.
